About me

I received my BA from Brandeis University and my MSW from New York University. I continued developing my clinical expertise through post-graduate training at the Seleni Institute, Women’s Therapy Center Institute, the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia, and the Albert Ellis Institute.  

 

I have been affiliated with TRI Center, Inc., American Ballet Theatre, the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, Inc., Hunter College, Bright Heart Health, and Pratt Institute. 

 

In addition, I am a current member of the Executive Board and Faculty for the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. I also served as the Marketing Chair for the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals New York Chapter.  Furthermore, I was on the Steering Committee for the National Eating Disorder Association’s New York City Walk. 

 

I frequently give lectures on eating disorders and substance abuse issues.  I have spoken to other clinicians, middle school and high school age students, and young adults in higher education. A list of my lectures is provided on the Services Page.
